Joe Botsch is an illustrator, musician, and all around weirdo in Somerville, Massachusetts.
As a proud Somerville resident, which more or less counts as a proud Boston resident, Joe enjoys working with artists and musicians in his community. As an illustrator and local musician, Joe knows the value of an eye catching poster. These posters were created for local shows, events, and albums.
Joe loves ink. Inking, he thinks, is like sculpting with light and shadow. Joe's inking is often put to work in horror imagery, and he often takes part in trends like Inktober to draw every day in the month of October.
Joe likes drawing super heroes and says "super heroes are to an illustrator what a bowl of fruit is to an oil painter," whatever that means.
Sometimes Joe is a guy named Shotgun, and things get weird. Joe is the singer, guitarist, and songwriter in a band called Your Friends in Hell. They rule.
